Communicating Green Gravity's Revolutionary Energy Storage Solution
From a long career in the mining industry, Mark Swinnerton saw an opportunity to make a significant impact by utilising existing and decommissioned mine shafts to store renewable energy. Green Gravity's technology leverages gravity-based energy storage through heavy weights lifted in mine shafts, allowing renewable energy to be deployed on demand. As a startup with no existing infrastructure or physical prototypes, communicating this innovative technology to potential stakeholders, government entities, and the general public was a challenge. Craft stepped in to bridge this gap by developing a series of 10 films, 3 animations, and various graphic assets. Each asset was tailored to clearly present the value propositions of Green Gravity, identifying key factors of interest for different viewers.
The outcome was transformative. Green Gravity established itself beyond the startup phase, acquired significant capital, and won awards globally. The company developed and launched a physical prototype, 'The Gravity Lab,' and secured multiple mine sites offering access to develop their infrastructure. Our strategic communication assets played a crucial role in advancing Green Gravity's vision and establishing its presence in the renewable energy sector.
